• nano /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
• delete the content of the file and insert:

• nano /etc/default/snmpd
• opt out the line starting with SNMPDOPTS and insert this line:

SNMPDOPTS='-Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -g snmp -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid'

• nano /etc/snmp/snmp.conf
• enter this line: #mibs :
• service snmpd restart
