X-Plane Display Resolution Error / Reset
It might be possible that you resolution has changed due to your of any other error and you are not able anymore to get to the menu to change the settings. The display resolution is so big that you can't reach your menu or any other settings of X-Plane.
In this case you have to reset you display settings as follows:
Exit X-Plane and go to you X-Plane folder. Go to “Output\preferences” and look for a file called
X-Plane Screen Res.prf
Rename or delete the file and start X-Plane again. X-Plane will start in native resolution, meaning that you have de set your display resolution setting again to you desired settings.
