*How to change the Directory Mode in Zentyal*
If you use Zentyal out of the box, share you make will be masked with 0660. This wil not always come in handy, especially if you like to have a Windows client connected to your server. To change this do the following:
nano /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/samba/shares.comf.mas
Find the entry called force create mode and force directory mode. Change the setting to whatever you need it to be. In most cases you will change 0660 to 0750.
Finally to take changes into effect do a
zs samba restart
That should do the trick!
