Just go to DIAGNOSTICS and select Backup & Restore

Select the settings you want to have. Default is normally a good choice. Download the XML file and your all set. Next time you want to restore a setting load the XML file you saved into PfSense and your system is up to the configuration of the last XML file you made.

Keep in mind that you should save the file on a safe location or another server.
